TEEN PARENTHOOD AWARENESS: FACT & FICTION
Teen Parent Awareness is a 45-90 minute classroom excursion into pregnancy and parenting for middle and high school students. It's an attention-grabbing opportunity for adolescents to experience the physical effects of pregnancy and the dramatic challenges of parenting. The students explore methods to counter peer-pressure and gain insight into the consequences of their decision-making. This dynamic program ultimately dispels any romantic illusions of parenthood and works to motivate teens to prevent untimely pregnancy. This unique decision-making skills program is available to schools, and youth groups upon request. |
