BABY SITTING WORKSHOP
CHC's Babysitting Workshop is an essential program for the children of working parents and those responsible for the care of other children. This fun-filled six-hour after-school program prepares children ages 11 to 14 for the business of babysitting and for capable supervision of siblings and neighbors. The workshop equips participants with basic childcare skills including feeding, bathing and diapering infants and toddlers. It offers easy to remember instruction on safety principles and practical experience reacting to fire, power failure and medical emergencies. Through role-playing, videos and even board games children practice their newly acquired skills and are prepared for real-life situations. Whether a child stays at home alone after school or is interested in earning spending money as a babysitter, this program is an must to ensure that he or she has the skills to be safe and responsible. CHC's Babysitting Workshops are held at hospitals, churches, community centers and schools throughout Bucks and Montgomery Counties. Call CHC for a complete list of dates and locations. The workshops can also be arranged for groups of fifteen or more.
