How do I find a good pediatrician that I can afford? You might want to talk to your obstetrician about who he/she might suggest. This topic is also discussed in CHC's pre-natal classes and you would have the benefit of the group's opinion.
If I don't take support from my baby's father, can I keep him from seeing the baby? Support and visitation are two separate issues. Every child is entitled to be emotionally, physically and financially supported by both parents. If you choose not to take money from the baby's father, he is still legally entitled to visitation unless he is a proven danger to the well being of the baby.
I need childcare that I can’t afford, what should I do? Contact Apple Child Care at 1 (800) 371-2109 and apply for assistance. Also, ask for a list of childcare providers in your area.
I want to collect child support , who do I contact? You should contact your local Domestic Relations Office.
How can I get my child medical insurance? You should contact your local county assistance office and apply for medical coverage.
